Brian Caldwell
Coach Caldwell brings a wealth of baseball teaching experience having coached travel ball for 10 years with the Oakland Pirates and the Southfield Cardinals. His 2020 team had 9 players accept college offers. Coach Caldwell is a Detroit native. He played 1B at Detroit Benedictine HS and then attended Western Michigan University where he studied Business Administration. Coach Caldwell is the President and CEO of the Caldwell Development Group, is married with two kids. His daughter is a college graduate who is now a registered nurse and his son is playing college baseball as a catcher.
Brian Johnson
Coach Johnson was a high school All-American in Oakland, California at Skyline High School. He went on to play football and baseball at Stanford University where he was a part of 2 College World Series National Championship teams (back-to-back), and a Gator Bowl team. Coach Johnson was drafted for a second time after his junior year by the NY Yankees and played 8 years in the major leagues where he played on two NL West Championship teams. After his playing career, Coach Johnson worked in the corporate world for 9 years, then returned to MLB as an advance and pro scout for the San Francisco Giants and was a part of each of the 3 Worlds Series Championship teams over 5 years. Coach Johnson now teaches hitting and catching at All Fields Hitting Academy (Southfield), while also working as an Executive Consultant for The Kaleidoscope Group based out of Chicago, IL and Charlotte, NC. Coach Johnson has coached basketball and baseball at both the middle school and high school levels, for both boys and girls teams. Coach Johnson is married with two kids. His daughter is a college student and his son is playing college baseball as a shortstop.
